CARMI – The following information was released by the Carmi Police Department on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

Carmi Police reported more criminal damage to property complaints.

Thirty-seven-year-old Abby Weiss of Carmi told Carmi Police Monday that a tire on her Chrysler minivan was slashed Friday night while she attended the Carmi basketball game. Her van was parked on Crebs Avenue when the damage occurred.

Sixty-year-old Jeffery D. Bridgeman of Carmi reported Monday that a tire was slashed on his Toyota Camry which had been parked in his back yard. Bridgeman believes the damage occurred Sunday night.
