SHAWNEETOWN – The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office says it has taken several reports of wire being stolen recently from irrigation systems around the county.

According to a post on the sheriff’s office Facebook page, some local farmers have told the sheriff they would provide $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrators of the wire thefts.
