MARION – An early Sunday morning traffic stop in Williamson County led to a meth arrest.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says around 12:40 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle on Power Plant Road.

While speaking with the driver, identified as Randal L. Hamilton, deputies observed drug paraphernalia in plain view within the vehicle.

Further investigation resulted in the discovery of a substance, located in the vehicle, which later field tested positive for Methamphetamine.

Hamilton was arrested and cited for Possession of Methamphetamine and Driving Without Lights When Required.

Hamilton was taken to and remanded into the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
