MCLEANSBORO – McLeansboro Assistant Fire Chief Walter Rexing announced his retirement at Tuesday night’s McLeansboro City Council meeting.

According to McLeansboro Mayor Chad May, Rexing served the fire department for 26 years. Rexing’s replacement has not been named as this time.
