ULLIN – Shawnee Community College in Ullin has hired a new Vice President of Student Affairs.

The College’s Board of Trustees approved hiring Jeff McGoy at its meeting on Oct. 19. McGoy will replace the current Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. Lisa Price, who is retiring at the end of the year.

McGoy is originally from Cairo and worked at Shawnee Community College early in his career in several capacities, most recently as an adjunct instructor. Currently, he is the Director of Exploratory Student Advisement at SIU-Carbondale.

McGoy is set to begin his new role at Shawnee Community College on Monday, Nov. 27.
