MARION – Marion Police need your help identifying a man they say struck a City of Marion fire hydrant with his pickup truck early Tuesday morning.

Police say the man was driving an older model crew cab Dodge Ram truck with a silver tool box in the bed. The truck caused extensive damage to the fire hydrant located at the T-Intersection on the frontage road between FS Gas Station and Voyage Assisted Living Center, east of town off of DeYoung Street.

The suspect was reported to being a white male, approximately 50 years of age, wearing glasses with a gray beard.
