HERRIN – A man has been arrested on drug and gun charges after the Marion Police Department Narcotics Unit Tuesday concluded a lengthy investigation that originated in Marion by executing a warrant to search a home in the 400 block of North 21st Street in Herrin.
According to Marion Police, Tyrone Hymon was arrested for Delivery of a Controlled Substance near a Protected Place, Possession of 15 to 100 grams of Cocaine with the Intent to Deliver, Possession of 15 to 100 grams of MDMA with the Intent to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon, Unlawful Possession of Firearm Ammunition and Possession of a Stolen Firearm (Jackson County).
Hymon is currently being housed at the Williamson County Jail.
