BENTON – Here’s an update on a story we told you about earlier this week involving an issue with City of Benton water customers not receiving their recent water bill in the mail.

According to a post on the City of Benton’s Facebook page Thursday, the U.S. Postal Service called city officials Thursday morning saying they have started to receive some of the bills back from St. Louis. The city has even noticed a few bills were brought into the water department.

The city says if you or someone you know would like to pay their bill before receiving it, you are welcome to come by the water department or call to get your total to submit online through the city’s website, by bill pay, or by mail. They are due on Feb. 15.
