CARMI – Carmi Police arrested a man at the Carmi Public Library Wednesday afternoon for Presence in a School Zone by a Sex Offender.

Police say 73-year-old Kenneth Sherrill Busby of Carmi was located inside the library during school hours and during the dismissal of students from Washington Attendance Center.

Busby was detained at the White County Jail with no bail set.
