ANNA – The Union County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a male patient who walked away from the Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center in Anna over the weekend.
According to a post on the sheriff’s office Facebook page, the patient was last seen on Young Avenue traveling west on foot toward Green Street in Anna.
The patient is a white male who was last seen wearing a long sleeve gray shirt, pants and tennis shoes. He is thin, stands 6’ tall, weighs 200 pounds and is bald. His name was not released.
The sheriff’s office is asking residents to make sure all vehicles and homes are locked.
