BENTON – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the death of a 14-month-old child.

Sheriff Kyle Bacon told us Sunday deputies and detectives responded Saturday morning to a report regarding the deceased child.

The sheriff says an autopsy has been scheduled. No obvious foul play was reported at the scene.
