BENTON – A Royalton man along with two others were involved in a three vehicle crash just after 6 Friday night on northbound I-57 in Benton.

According to Illinois State Police, a red 2017 Dodge truck, driven by 79-year-old Bobby Stagner of Royalton, was going north on I-57 when he attempted to change lanes and struck a 2022 Blue Freightliner Truck-Tractor Semi-Trailer combination driven by a 57-year-old man from Houston, TX. That semi overcorrected and struck a 2024 Blue International Truck-Tractor Semi-Trailer combination driven by a 72-year-old man from Fargo, ND.

ISP says no injuries were reported at the scene.

Stagner was cited for Improper Lane Usage.
