SOUTHERN ILLINOIS – Banks, airlines, media, hospitals, law enforcement, you name it that use Microsoft products are experiencing a CrowdStrike outage today as a defect in a Windows update caused an outage for Microsoft users.

So what should you do?

According to Washington County EMA’s Facebook page, you should call ahead to ensure you won’t be impacted if you have tasks and appointments scheduled. This outage could affect stores, restaurants, and even transportation. Just be patient.

CrowdStrike says the issue has been identified and work is underway to solve the problem.
