MARION – Two people have been cited for drug offenses after deputies attempted to locate a wanted fugitive at the Econo Lodge in Marion Thursday evening according to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were standing in the third floor stairwell when they heard people below. They saw Reva C. Warnsman hand Gregory C. Wellmaker a bag of meth with Gregory paying for it.
Warnsman and Wellmaker began arguing over the terms of the drug transaction conveniently allowing deputies time to decend two flights of stairs. Gregory clasped the bag of meth in his fist and began to move towards a hallway exit tossing the bag into a corner. Deputies quickly arrested Warnsman and Wellmaker. Warnsman said she had a bag of heroin in her boot. It was recovered.
Warnsman was cited for Methamphetamine Delivery and Possession of a Controlled Substance while Wellmaker was cited for Possession of Methamphetamine. They were lodged in the Williamson County Jail.
