MARION – The Marion Police Department released the following information on Friday, Aug. 23, 2024. 

Tish Anderson, 34, of Cairo was arrested for Retail Theft at Walmart on Aug. 12, 2024.

James Holmes, 24, of Creal Springs was arrested Aggravated Assault and Unlawful Use of a Weapon in the 2700 block of West Main Street on Aug. 19, 2024.

Stewart Kenley, 56, of Marion was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Cannabis by Driver on Aug. 19, 2024, in the 1500 block of East DeYoung Street.

Yekini Lindsey, 45, of Carterville was arrested for Cannabis Trafficking in the 1800 block of Industrial Park Drive on Aug. 20, 2024.

Hailey Poppen, 19, of Marion was arrested for Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer and Disorderly Conduct in a Public Park in the 1200 block of South Monroe Street on Aug. 22, 2024.

Christine Williams, 30, of Wheeling, IL, was issued citations for Criminal Trespass to Property and Retail Theft at Walmart on Aug. 21, 2024.

Bryant Green, 52, of Marion was arrested for Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer in the area of West Enterprise Way and North Bentley Street on Aug. 20, 2024.

Billie Howell, 42, of Herrin was arrested for Retail Theft at Walmart on Aug. 22, 2024.

James McCray, 59, of Carterville was arrested for Retail Theft at Walmart on Aug. 22, 2024.
