MURPHYSBORO – The Jackson County Health Department wants to help you get ready for respiratory virus season.

Officials says they are now providing flu shots by appointment. It’s recommended for everyone over 6 months of age with high dose flu shots available for those 65 and older. An egg free vaccine is also available to those with a known egg allergy. Flu Mist (a needleless flu vaccine) is available for children age 2-18. Regular vaccine is available for all other individuals.

Updated COVID-19 vaccines and RSV vaccines are also available.
