MARION – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says a man was recently arrested twice for Violation of an Order of Protection.

According to the sheriff’s office, at 6:45 Thursday night, deputies conducted a traffic stop in Marion.

The driver, identified as Charles G. McGuire, was arrested on an outstanding Jackson County warrant for Violation of an Order of Protection.

McGuire was taken to and remanded into the custody of the Williamson County Jail with a $25,000 bond. He posted bond and was released at 7:30 p.m.

The sheriff’s office says Friday morning, deputies investigated a report that McGuire had committed a second offense of violating an order of protection with the same protected party.

Deputies spoke with McGuire and verified he had again Violated the Order of Protection after he had been released from jail.

McGuire was arrested, cited for Violation of an Order of Protection, and remanded into the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
