MARION – A man wanted on a Jefferson County warrant for Possession of Amphetamines was arrested over the weekend in Williamson County for meth possession.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Arron D. Ellison was taken into custody early Sunday morning after deputies in the area of Miles Trail and Indian Camp Drive saw a vehicle whose registered owner had an outstanding arrest warrant. Ellison was the driver of that vehicle. He was taken into custody on the warrant.

A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which located drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine.  

Ellison was cited for Possession of Methamphetamine.

He was transported to and remanded into the custody of the Williamson County Jail.
