MARION – The City of Marion wants you to know that in order to keep everyone safe and make space for the Fall Festival Carnival tonight, Tower Square Plaza will be mostly closed to traffic from 5 to 8:30 p.m.

The following streets will be affected:

West Main from Van Buren Street to Tower Square Plaza in both directions

East Main from Madison Street to Tower Square Plaza; westbound lane

North Market from Union Street to Tower Square Plaza in both directions

South Market from College Street to Tower Square Plaza; southbound lane

Madison Street from Main Street to Union Street in both directions

South Market will be open from College Street to East Main Street for traffic.

The City asks that you park in one of the many parking spots located not far from the Tower Square clock.
