CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police reported Thursday that officers were able to find 19-year-old Mandy E. Pope safe and in good health.

Pope was reported missing Monday after she was last seen around 7 a.m. in the 400 block of South Illinois Avenue in Carbondale.

Pope was supposed to take the train to Kankakee, IL. for the day but was not on the train when it arrived back in Carbondale Monday evening. Police said she had a condition that potentially placed her in danger.
