BENTON – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office released the following information on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2023.

12-18-23 John R. Harp, age 59, of Benton was issued traffic citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration.

12-21-23 Gary W. McGraw, age 50, of Ava was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

12-21-23 Ashley L. Schram, age 35, of West Frankfort was arrested for 3 counts of aggravated battery

12-22- 23 Jeffery S. Phillips, age 19, of Walsh, IL was arrested for unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle.

12-22-23 Mariah B. Watkins, age 34, of Benton was arrested for unlawful violation of an order of protection.

12-22-23 Eric E. Rich, age 52, of Benton was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

12-22-23 William L. Laws, age 49, of Benton was arrested for possession of adult use cannabis in a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of methamphetamine.

12-23-23 Reese L. Yates, age 38, of Marion was arrested for aggravated battery, criminal damage to property and criminal trespass to residence.

12-23-23 Gabrielle D. Bush, age 48, of Birmingham, AL was issued traffic citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to yield while turning.

12-24-23 Dylan L. Morris, age 30, of West Frankfort was arrested for aggravated domestic battery, unlawful interference with the reporting of domestic violence, criminal damage to property and driving while license revoked. Morris was also ticketed for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

12-24-23 Chad M. Delaval, age 36, of Benton was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

12-24-23 Bryan K. Edwards, age 43, of Mulkeytown was arrested for obstructing justice. Edwards also had Franklin County warrants for 2 counts of theft, residential burglary and unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle.

12-24-23 April D. Wall, age 42, of Thompsonville was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

The public is reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
