CARBONDALE – The City of Carbondale and the Carbondale Park District are working together to complete a master plan for Carbondale’s public parks and green spaces. They are enthusiastic about this joint process to improve the city’s recreational and natural areas.
The master plan will include several opportunities for feedback from the community including a resident survey. Please click here to complete the survey that became available Wednesday. It will be open for three weeks and close on Monday, March 6.
Yard signs have also been distributed around town with a QR code that directs you to the survey. Once surveys are completed, a series of focus groups will be held to further discuss ideas and plans. The city is excited to embark on this collaborative process to affect positive changes in Carbondale.
