DALE – An Eldorado High School student was taken to a local hospital as a precaution after one of their school buses was involved in a head-on crash south of Dale Friday.

According to the Eldorado High School Facebook page, the bus was taking students and staff to the Special Olympics in Mt. Vernon.

Students and staff were safe, and again the student was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The school thanks the Hamilton County Sheriff, Fire. and EMS for the quick response.
