MARION – Illinois State Police responded to a crash involving four vehicles on southbound I-57 at milepost 49 in Williamson County around 8:50 Saturday night.

According to a preliminary report from ISP, a tow truck was going south on I-57 in the left lane slowing to take the median crossover with a Kia Forte in tow.

A Dodge Caravan struck the rear of the Kia and attempted to pull to the left shoulder. A Toyota Yaris struck the rear of the Caravan.

No injuries were reported at the time of the report.

All vehicles, minus the Kia already in tow, were able to drive from the scene.

No lane closures were reported. No further information is available at this time.
