BENTON – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office released the following information on Monday, May 20, 2024.

5-13-24 Jonathan S. Calbreath, age 22, of Mulkeytown was issued a traffic citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

5-13-24 Michael L. Mohring, age 51, of Logan was arrested for violation of conditions of pretrial release, aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and endangering the life and health of a child.

5-13-24 Jacob D. Vanzandt, age 30, of Harrisburg was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

5-13-24 Gene A. Caraker, age 28, of West Frankfort was arrested for driving while license suspended and speeding.

5-14-24 Derek G. Smith, age 32, of Johnston City was arrested for driving with a suspended registration and criminal trespass to property.

5-15-24 Ryan B. Christian, age 30, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

5-15-24 Benjamin W. Smith, age 49, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

5-15-24 Chad L. Hubble, age 25, of Thompsonville was issued traffic citations for speeding and disobeying a traffic control device in a school zone.

5-15-24 Amy N. Garmane, age 43, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

5-15-24 Robert J. Wehr, age 45, of Benton was issued traffic citations for speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

5-15-24 Christopher C. Webb, age 36, of Ewing was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

5-15-24 Troy C. Yates, age 58, of West Frankfort was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

5-16-24 Rachel C. Chappo, age 53, of McLeansboro was issued a traffic citation for improper use of an electronic device.

5-16-24 Angela D. Grutzius, age 51, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

5-16-24 Scott L. McClure, age 33, of West Frankfort was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

5-19-24 Thomas R. Peppers, age 27, of Carterville was issued a traffic citation for failure to wear a seat belt.

5-15-24 Barbara J. Thompson, age 55, of Herrin. Retail theft

5-16-24 Travis L. Jones, age 38, of Herrin. Failure to appear for driving while license suspended.

5-16-24 Elaina J. Kays, age 47, of Sesser. Forgery

5-17-24 Cody L. Summers, age 25, of West Frankfort. Possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.
